The Cinderella story originated in Naples and just here the necklace, worn by the sparkling Fab G played by Billy Porter in the 2021 film musical Cinderella, came to life.
This shining crystal jewel handmade by Aster LAB became very soon the most charmed necklace in the kingdom.
The creation was born from the original idea of giving a new light to the fairy godmother, in a modern, inclusive key that transcends the schemes. But without losing the romantic and fabulous touch that only the sparkle of crystals and smooth and sophisticated shapes can give.
Fab G appears as an enchanting butterfly who transforms into a genderless fairy godmother wearing an otherworldly-looking orange coat by costume designer Ellen Mirojnick and custom Jimmy Choo boots.
All embellished with the opulent and shimmering Aster LAB necklace.
Amy is the oversize necklace with high neck and soft lines made from strands of Preciosa and Swarovski crystals and enriched with large stones.
It is a creation designed to give full relief to the neckline and make the outfit truly distinctive. It's wonderful to see this result on the fairy Fab G.
Porter's look is fabulous - as his character's name suggests - and only a very talented artist like him could look his best in this costume.
Billy Porter also showed off his magical outfit for Mercedes in the catwalk "Dressed for a Dream", where the models wore fairytale-like and at the same time extremely eye-catching outfits for one evening.
Mecedes is the icon of luxury always in step with the times, beyond any scheme. In this crossroads of styles it expresses even more strongly the idea, for women and not only, of being what you want to be, in any field.
