It is within this dialogue that SYREN, Aster Lab's latest couture creation, takes shape.
Far removed from the idea of a conventional stage costume, SYREN is conceived as a single, unified work in which the headpiece, corset and accessories are designed simultaneously, following one architectural vision. Every element exists in relation to the others, transforming the silhouette into a sculptural composition.
Inspired by the Siren of Greek mythology—the winged creature embodying fascination, seduction and power—SYREN draws upon an ancient archetype reinterpreted through a contemporary couture language. Rather than a literal representation, the myth serves as a cultural reference that defines the spirit of the creation.
Crystals, leather, metal and feathers are treated as structural materials. Crystals become part of the architecture rather than ornamentation; metal establishes the rhythm of the silhouette; leather provides its foundation, while feathers introduce an organic dimension that amplifies movement. Every detail is handcrafted through a process requiring dozens of hours of artisanal work, bringing together expertise from multiple disciplines.
